This one-day course is designed as an introduction for potential new GARDENERS interested in growing their own vegetable with less than 2 years’ experience.
The morning is a classroom lecture, and the afternoon is a practical demonstration within our gardenplot to allow you "hands on" experience.
We will cover all aspects of what you should be planting, soil conditions, seeds so that you understand the life cycle and learn to grow your own successfully.
Dress for the weather on the day but please wear stout boots or "wellies” and a packed lunch.
